The Western District oversees and facilitates three Camps around the province, with events going on all year round. Find out more information below:

Bellevue

Bellevue Lodge is a camp owned by The Christian & Missionary Alliance of Canada. It is located 20 minutes south of St. Paul, Alberta. Camp Nakamun has begun a partnership with Bellevue Lodge to act as managers and facilitators of their summer and off-season programming. It is a beautiful and rustic wilderness camp that will encourage campers to enjoy the outdoors, and experience God in a refreshing way.

Bellevue Lodge was established in 1985 as a ministry of the Lakeland Alliance churches as a bible camp with the distinct purpose of bringing people to faith in Christ.

Chamisall

Camp Chamisall is the second camp of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, located at the foot of the Canadian Rockies. Since 1961, our mission has been to “impact lives and challenge each individual to follow Christ in a unique, safe and caring environment”.

Nakamun

Camp Nakamun is a collection of three sites:

At the Main Nakamun site they run programming involving weekly camps for kids interested in classic camp activities from canoeing, swimming, and archery to wall climbing, zip lining, and their giant King Swing. Their paintball campers also stay at their main site, though their field is located 1/2 mile up the road at their North Shore property.

The North Shore property is also home to Nakamun Outdoors. This is for kids that love being outside. Camping in tents, cooking over the fire, chopping wood, throwing axes and shooting arrows are all part of this experience.

Just East of the North Shore property is Nakamun Ranch. Since 2016 they have been running their Horsemanship and Ranch camps on their own completely at the ranch. Plans are in the works for eating and sleeping accommodations for the Horsemanship campers and staff.
