Director, Human Resources – Ambrose University



Reporting to the Vice President of Finance & Administration on a day-to-day basis, but providing a minumum of quarterly updates to the President, the Director of Human Resources is responsible to:

  1. Lead Ambrose University’s human resource management activities and provide leadership, direction and services to employees, Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents.
  2. Achieve Ambrose’s human resource initiatives, processes and programs in the areas of selection & recruitment, new employee orientation, policy development, compensation and benefits, staff & faculty relations (recognition, retention, engagement, communications), and a performance management system. 
  3. Manage complex and sensitive staff relation issues.
  4. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, discretion and integrity.
